Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy from onlinecontacts.com?

OnlineContacts.com is owned by two eye doctors who have over 20 years of online optical retail experience. We sell the same name-brands you know and love from your doctors’ office at a very competitive price.

Enjoy our easy ordering process and hassle-free experience thanks to our seamless online ordering process and excellent U.S. - based customer support. Enjoy certain perks like, free shipping on orders over $99, re-order notifications, and reminders for when your prescription is about to expire!

Are these the same contact lenses my doctor sells?

Yes. We provide the same initial box of lenses you would receive from your local doctor. We offer 14 different brand name (ie: Acuvue, Air Optix, Biofinity) contact lenses that are made directly by the manufactures you’ve grown to love!

Can I use the same prescription for glasses and contact lenses?

No. A valid prescription is required for contact lenses since it contains additional measurements that are not part of an eyeglass prescription. If you have any questions about your prescription, one of our knowledgeable specialists will be happy to help you.

Your order will be reviewed by our Customer Support Team to ensure that it conforms to your doctor's valid, unexpired prescription that you have provided to us. Most orders will ship from our facility within 1 - 2 business days; some custom/complex contact lenses may take longer.

What is your Warranty/Return Policy?

We make it easy to return your contact lenses!

To receive a full refund on the returned products, you must first contact us by phone, email, or live chat (Have your order number ready!) for a Return Authorization. When your return has been approved, we will email you a pre-paid return shipping label (which you will use to send the contact lenses back to us) and a Return/Exchange form, which you will need to print, fill out, and include within your return package.
